Mr. Nirash Paija is currently enrolled as a faculty lecturer for graduate and undergraduate students at the Tribhuwan University and Pokhara University of Nepal. He has been involved in teaching Econometrics; Microeconomics; Macroecnomics; and Tourism Economics for about 4 years after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Tribhuwan University. Mr. Paija specializes his research area on Energy Economics; Global Trade Network Analysis;Tourism Economics’ Agriculture Economics; and Resource Economics. He has published papers on well-known international journals such as the Journal of Economic Modeling, Energy Policy, Journal of Economic Integration, CAMA of Australian National University and others. Mr. Paija is a recipient of various national and international awards, grants and sponsorship which includes, Festival for New Economic Thinking conference research paper presentation in Institute of New Economic Thinking (INET) of Scotland, training on Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) organized by South Asian Network on Economic Modeling held in Bangladesh, and presented papers in various conference such as Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Tokyo, Japan; International Entrepreneurship Forum Conference held in Nepal and many more. He has also been a research trainer and consultant conducting analytical workshops for various schools and institutions on statistical inferences tools such as R Programming, STATA, MatLab, Python and EViews. Mr. Paija is recognized for his resiliency and resourceful nature. He is a highly motivated researcher who is eager to gaining new experience with national level policy institution.
