Mr. Sarin Ghimire, MSc

Mr. Sarin Ghimire is a young political economist by profession. His area of interests are political economy, foreign policy and strategic affairs. Prior to joining the Center, he was associated with the Institute of Socio-Economic and Strategic Affairs, a think tank based in Kathmandu. Ghimire has previously worked for the Investment Board Nepal and East West Center in Washington, among others. He was a senior journalist at The Kathmandu Post, Nepal’s leading English-based daily, for four years. Ghimire has provided consulting services to several donor agencies, including the United Nations and Dfid. He has a Master’s of Science degree in International Political Economy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a Bachelors of Arts degree majoring in Economics from the State University of New York, Buffalo.
